All disputes in South Asia are subject to the resolution of Kashmir: Peoples League

Senior Hurriyat Leader and chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Sheikh Mohammad Yaqoob in a statement has said that the Kashmir squabble is the main cause of tension between two nuclear neighbopuring countries - India and Pakistan, which needs to be resolved as per wishes of Kashmiri people without any further delay. Sheikh Yaqoob asked India and Pakistan to shun the differences in the interest of people of two nations and take practical initiatives on priority basis to resolve the long pending Kashmir dispute. Yaqoob reiterated that all three parties of the dispute including Pakistan, India and the people of Jammu Kashmir should sit together and find an amicable and permanent solution to the problem. Yaqoob maintained that acceptable and durable resolution of Kashmir can draw a new era of hope, prosperity, development and mutual trust with unbeaten provincial cooperation with the flourishing arrangements of success.
Sheikh Mohammad Yaqoob has appealed to the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and United Nations (UN) to use their moral and political influence to help resume the peace process for a just and honourable settlement of the Kashmir dispute and to grant the people of Kashmir their inalienable right of self-determination

CELEBRATE EID WITH AUSTERITY : Peoples League

Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Sheikh Mohammad Yaqoob and Executive Member APHC & Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza have felicitated the Muslim Ummah particularly the people of Kashmir and other parts of the world on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. They urged all Kashmiri Muslims for the charity in view of Eid-Ul-Fitr. They reiterated that the toll of Orphans, Widows , Destitutes and a new category of “Half –Widows” has emerged at a large pace, since the onset of resistance struggle from 1989 in a new format , we as Muslims must seize the opportunity to prove a boon to relieve agony and the Aah of Kashmiri sufferers . They Maintained that Eid is not a mere celebration but the commemoration to renew the oath to perform excellent for the sake of Allah and contribute for the suffering humanity added that Let the Imams and Khatibs of all the Masjids, jamias and Eid Gahs pray for the complete liberation of Kashmir from the Indian enchainment along with terror and horror unleashed by its forces to suppress the genuine freedom struggle. They appealed the people to observe austerity while celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr and demonstrate solidarity with the families of those who lost their dear ones in the freedom struggle and also with those whose relatives are languishing in jails.
Mukhtar waza expresses deep sorrow and grief over the death of cousin brother of Shaheed-e-Azeemat, Sheikh Abdul Aziz who passed at his residence at Namblabal Pampore. Waza prayed that let the departed souls rest in peace and the next of kith and kin have the patience and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of the member of the family.
