Nourished by memories of years of violent repression in which torture, innocent killing, molestation, and enforced disappearances have become commonplace the people of Kashmir are reacting only with non-violent protests. Maqbool Sofi, Pervaiz Ahmad DAr,Acting Chairman JKPL, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing the protesters said that India must implement the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir.
