People participate massively in Karalpora rally. APHC

Kashmiris’ liberation struggle cannot be suppressed|

Today on 22th May 23, 2011 thousands of people participated in a rally at Karalpora in Kupwara, which marked the conclusion of Martyrdom Week, today.

The people including women and children from across the Valley had converged on the Karalpora Chowk to pay homage to martyred liberation leaders, Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone. They raised anti-India and pro-liberation slogans.

Addressing the rally, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Bilal Ghani Lone said that the Kashmiris were the masters of their destiny who should be allowed to decide their future by themselves. They maintained that India would not be able to suppress Kashmiris’ just struggle for right to self-determination by resorting to repressive measures. They said that the APHC was ready to participate in any dialogue process that was aimed at resolving the Kashmir dispute on durable basis.

Waza eulogized the services of Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone for the Kashmir cause. Referring to the imposition of curfew and restrictions in Srinagar, yesterday, he said that the government of India and its regime in the territory were playing a dangerous game by usurping the democratic rights of the Kashmiri people.

APHC Leader Pays Rich tributes to Moulvi Farooq and Khawaja Lone

Senior Leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, while paying rich tributes to Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone on the occasion of their martyrdom anniversaries, reiterated the pledge to take the martyrs mission to its logical conclusion.

Waza issued a statement in Srinagar said that the services of Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone for the liberation movement would always be remembered.

The APHC leader said that the sacrifices of martyrs had internationalized the Kashmir dispute and the unprecedented sacrifices of Kashmiri people and the blood of martyrs will bring positive results.

The APHC leader said that that the people of Kashmir were ready to offer more sacrifices but they would not compromise on securing their right to self-determination for which they had been struggling for last more than six decades. He said that the day was not away when the Kashmiris would get rid of Indian bondage.
