Sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs not to go waste: JKPL

Srinagar, Mar. 15: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, has said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.

The JKPL leader, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, who visited the house Shaheed Bashir Ahmad Mir along with part Gen Sectary, Mohd Ashraf paid glowing tributes to Shaeed Bashir Ahmad, Sajad Ahmad Mir, Shaeed Mohd Hussain Mir and their mother (Fatmia) who passed away this morning at her residence in Janglat Mandi Islamabad.

Waza expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Fatmia, a pious and well know women in the area, who gave her three children to Kashmir cause

Her three children were martyred by Indian troops in 1996 in separate encounters.

Mukhtar Waza said that the sacrifices of martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level. He deplored that India was victimizing the Kashmiri people for demanding their inalienable right to self–determination. He said that Kashmiris’ liberation struggle was genuine and based on the principles of justice.

He said that scarifies made by our mothers and sisters like Fatima will not be allowed to go waste.

Kashmir has became an exhibition of human rights violations

Srinagar, Mar 13: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Senior leader, Mukthar Ahmad Waza has expressed shock and grief over the death of youth in Islamabad town of South Kashmir. The 15 year old youth Yasir Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ayun, resident of Anchidora, Islamabad was run over by an army vehicle near Bus Stand.

Waza who visited the family today expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.He said that the Indian armed forces are continuously committing human rights violations in Kashmir from last 63 years.

“Killing common Kashmiri has became a habit of Indian Army and on daily routine people are being killed in fake encounters, interrogation centers, road accidents etc.” adding that forces also involved in rape, molestalations and other criminal cases in Kashmir that have not been probed by any agency till time.

He said that the Kashmir has became an exhibition of human rights violations, done by the Indian army were one can see every kind brutalities faced by the Innocent Kashmiri people.

He appealed international community including human rights watch to take a serious notice of the situation prevailing in Kashmir and of the violations took place from last 63 years.

He maintained that the Kashmir issue is the main issue of South Asia and its resolution of the issue is need of the hour and peace in south Asia lies in its resolution according to the will of Kashmiri People.

Scarifies made by Kashmiri women unforgettable: JKPL

Srinagar, March, 09, 2012:Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob has said that the Kashmiri women had been the main victims of Indian state terrorism in Kashmir for the last 63 years and their sacrifices for the Kashmir cause were unforgettable.

While presenting a paper presentation in Geneva, Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob said that the Indian troops have committed a large number of Human Rights violations and is continuously committing and particularly Kashmiri women was worst hit by the violations.

He said that Kashmiri women were not only abused by the troops but were kept in integration centers and torched physically, mentally and physiologically that those incidents were internationally reorganized and also probed and proved by the several international organization.

He said that the scarifies given by the Kashmiri women from last 63 years are unforgettable.

He appealed international community to take a serious note of Human Rights violations committed by the troops in the occupied State.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, General Sectary, Mohd Ashraf Vaid while interacting with party workers said that party has always worked for the aspirations of the Innocent Kashmir people and have also made lot of scarifies for the same cause.

He stressed upon party workers to work within the party limits and also demanded the resolution of Kashmir issue through UNO resolutions.
