Waza hails Zardari’s Statement for advocating tripartite talks



Srinagar, September 30, 2012: Hurriyat Executive member and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples league, Mukhtar Waza on Sunday hailed the statement of Pakistani President, Asif Ali Zardari for advocating tripartite talks on Kashmir Issue.
Mukthar Waza in said that Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League welcomes the statement of Pakistani president in which he said that resolving Kashmir issue through dialogue process without  inclusion of  Kashmiri people is impossible. 
He expressed satisfaction over the statement in which Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has promised to continue political, diplomatic and moral support for the Kashmir People for securing right to self determination according to the resolutions of United Nations.
Waza said that Kashmir issue is most important humanitarian issue in the whole world that ranks first position among the issue in the United Issues but on international level issue is being sidelined that may have unconstructive results and can disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the world as well in South Asian region because of the Nuclear power countries involvement in the issue and making it a Nuclear Flash point in the South Asian region.
Waza Said that world’s peace loving Intelligentsia has endorsed the importance of Kashmir issue and is well known about the consequences of its sideling or keeping it unresolved, and hence they should play their important role in the peaceful resolution of Kashmir Issue.
Waza maintained that Kashmiri people as well as Kashmiri Leadership will continue to fight peacefully for securing their inalienable right to self determination according to the resolutions of United Nations for which they have given uncounted scarifies.

JKPL intensifies its door to door campaign


Kashmir resolution can bring permanent peace in South Asia: Mukhtar Waza
Srinagar, 24: while stating the Peaceful resolution of long pending Kashmir Issue can bring permanent peace in South Asia, Senior Leader of APHC (M) and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukthar Ahmad Waza today said that uncounted scarifies of Kashmiri People will not go in waste.
Addressing party workers at Qaimoh Kulgam, after visiting several places of South Kashmir’s Anantnag and Kulgam Districts in its door to door campaign, Mukthar Waza said that the sacrifices given by people of Kashmir will not go waste and maintained that people will continue liberation struggle till its logical conclusion.
In the meantime party workers held meeting and discussed the present political scenario of world as well of State Jammu and Kashmir and observed that peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue can bring permanent peace and economical stability in South Asia.
Mukthar Waza stressed upon workers to continue supporting the liberation struggle that is the ultimate aim of Hurriyat conference as well as JKPL.

“Settle 66 years old Kashmir Issue” Waza reminds international community on International democracy day.


Srinagar, September 15: On the eve of International democracy day, Senior Hurriyat leader of APHC (M) and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukthar Ahmad Waza has reminded once again international community to settle the 66 years old Kashmir issue in accordance with the United Nation resolutions.  
Mukthar Waza, while addressing delegates meet that was attended by party activists from several areas of South Kashmir’s Islamabad district, said that in recent years international community decided to celebrate 15 September as International Democracy Day but still world hasn’t paid any attention towards Kashmir Issue, world most important issue that can disturb the peace in whole world if not resolved peacefully.
“International community decided to celebrate 15 September as International Democracy Day but international community hasn’t paid any attention towards Kashmir issue, as the issue is between nuclear countries and can damage the peaceful scenario of the world.” Waza Said, adding that world’s apathy towards the Kashmir issue is itself a concern for them.
He said that Kashmiri Innocent people from last 66 years are demanding Right to Self determination peacefully and democratically guaranteed by United Nations but they are still denied and hence the resolution of Kashmir issue is pending, resulting grave human rights violations, Killings and bloodshed in the Himalayan bounded Kashmir valley that still going on.
“Our region is bounded by world’s 3 Vito powers, I, e America, China and Russia and by two nuclear powers  I, e India and Pakistan, so international community should think on the issue seriously and they should take a step for the resolution of Kashmir issue according to the resolutions guaranteed by United Nations.” Waza said, adding that international community should pressurize the nuclear countries for the resolution of Kashmir issue while leaving economic interests aside.  
He maintained that the peaceful resolution of Kashmir Issue can bring permanent peace and stability in the whole world as well as in South Asian region and can fulfill the economic interests of the region.
Mukthar Waza and that delegates present in the meeting condemned the shameful act of Jewish film group that has made an Anti-Islamic film surfaced on You tube that has prevailed uncertainty in the Muslim world around the globe.
Waza appealed international community to take strict action against those involved the Shameful act.

Dialogue is the only forward says Mukthar Waza


Srinagar, September 7, 2012: Executive Member of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (M) and Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League,Mukthar Ahmad waza, while welcoming the Foreign Ministry talks, going to be held tomorrow in Pakistan,  Said that dialogue is the only way to resolve the long pending Kashmir issue.
Addressing Friday congregations at Islamabad, Waza said that dialogue is the only way to resolve Kashmir Issue; however he maintained that without induction of genuine Kashmiri leadership dialogue process can’t yield fruits. He said that Kashmir leadership should be inducted in the process to make it resulted oriented dialogue process that can help in the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.
He said, “Kashmir belongs to kashmiris and hence Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the aspirations of Kashmiri innocent people.”
Waza expressed serious concern over the human rights violations, conditions of Political prisoners lashing in different jails.
“On one side India is claiming ‘o’ tolerance but on the other side human rights violations in the state are being done by security forces and other agencies of India that goes unnoticed every day. The movement of Political leaders is being restricted and they are not allowed to offer Friday prayers.” Waza said adding that Pro-Freedom leaders are not being allowed to address Friday congregation in Mosques by State and Central government agencies, as the government is pressurizing local populace to face action.
He welcomed the talks that are going to be held in Pakistan tomorrow and hoped that both countries will keep Kashmir Issue on high priority and will a take step forward that will help in the resolution of Kashmir issue and can bring permanent peace in South Asia.

South Asia peace linked with Kashmir settlement

Srinagar, September 05 : All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that future of the South Asian region can only be saved by resolving the Kashmir dispute as per wishes of the Kashmiri people.
The APHC in its Executive Council meeting, presided over by the Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in Srinagar, today, called for involvement of the Kashmiri leadership in the Pak-India dialogue process. The APHC said that the Kashmir was a serious issue and could not be sidelined in the negotiations between the two neighbouring countries.
Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Bilal Ghani Lone, Masroor Abbas, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Musaddiq Aadil attended the meeting.

Kashmir dispute is bone of contention between Pakistan and India: JKPL


 Srinagar, September 01; All Parties Hurriyat Conference (M) and chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, today said that peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute can restore trust between India and Pakistan.
 Waza while addressing a party meeting at Islamabad, hailed the recent talks held between india and pakistan that emphasized friendly relations between Pakistan and India, necessary for overall development in the South Asian region.
He said that peaceful solution of the Kashmir Dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris aspirations was must for cordial relations between Pakistan and India as the dispute is bone of contention between the two countries.
Waza pointed out that immediate demilitarization of Jammu and Kashmir could be an effective confidence building measure between the two nuclear neighbors. He asked India to take solid steps for resolution of Kashmir issue, so that permanent peace could be established in the region. He stressed upon India to create conducive atmosphere for meaningful and result-oriented talks on Kashmir. He said that permanent peace in South Asia was impossible without the settlement of the long-pending dispute over Kashmir. Waza demanded an end to unlawful arrest spree and halt to gross violations of human rights by Indian troops in Kashmir. He said that the world community had recognized Kashmir as a dispute, which should be settled through dialogue process.
