Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Sheikh Yaqoob on Tuesday urged the people to march towards Pampore on August 11 to commemorate the martyrdom of Sheikh Abdul Aziz.
In a statement, Yaqoob, who is younger brother of slain leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz, said the march was to remind the world community about the sacrifices of Kashmiris.
“It’s incumbent upon the leaders of Hurriyat Conference and pro-freedom parties to call upon people of Jammu and Kashmir to march towards Pampore. The day would mark the third martyrdom anniversary of Aziz,” he added.
