APHC leader and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today
strongly condemned the killing of innocent youths of Lethpora Awantipora and
Chatabal. He expressed sympathy with the families of martyred youth and denounced
the use of force and lethal weapons on peaceful protesters.
Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza in an issued statement said that Indian military oppression can’t muzzle
the ongoing movement and can’t deter Kashmiris from achieving the birth
right-right to self determination- guaranteed by UN security resolutions.
“International
community should take a notice of the atrocities being faced by Kashmiris and
pressurize India to settle Kashmir issue once for all,” he said.
He said,
“Forces are firing directly on protesters and have crossed all the limits.
Entire Kashmir stands with the families of the youth who have been martyred
during the present unrest. Sacrifices rendered by martyrs won’t go in a vain
and the present struggle would be taken to its logical end.”
