APHC Leader Mukhtar Waza condemns nonstop brutality in Kashmir

All Parties Hurriyat Conference Leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza condemns the police brutalities on peaceful protestors in which a 22 yr old Zubair Ganie s/o Gulzar Ahmad of Shirpora Anantnag got seriously injured. Mukhtar Waza has also denounced the action of paramilitary CRPF troopers in Soura, in which a 9th class student, Aabid Mushtaq of Awantibavan, Soura, has lost his eye. Waza said that these incidents reflected the serious situation in the Valley. He said that the Indian troops were killing innocent Kashmiri people especially youth and students and called these events crimes against humanity. He said that these brutalities are a slap on the face of Indian democracy.

Mukhtar Waza stressed that it is important that the political Organizations and human rights group join their hands to raise the voice against these crimes. He said that this shows clearly that India is trying to force the whole Kashmiris under the guns so that no voice can be heard outside. He said that Indian human rights Organizations should raise this issue with Indian Government, so that nonstop brutality could be clogged. He also called on UN and Europeon Union Human Rights Organization to request their Member State to raise this issue with India that these kinds of killings are not allowed in civilized World.

Meanwhile Mukhtar Waza has castigated authorities for imposing stringent curfew all across the valley which has resulted into shortage of essential commodities, medicines, milk and baby food. He termed it as collective punishment meted to Kashmiris for raising voice for their birth right of freedom. He also condemned the recent attacks on the journalists and ban of local TV news networks and newspapers.
