Parliamentarians, civil society members meet APHC Executive Members
An important meeting of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Executive Members was held at Nigeen Srinagar today chaired by its chairman Mirwaiz Moulvi Mohammad Umer Farooq and attended by Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Bilal Gani Lone, Abdullah Tarri and Aga Syed Hasan Budgami other Executive Members. In the meeting a threadbare discussion was discussed about recent political situation of Kashmir.
An elevan -member parliamentarian and civil society delegation, on a three-day visit to the Kashmir Valley, called on APHC.
The delegation comprising parliamentarians and prominent citizens, including Ram Vilas Paswan, D. Raja, Nageshwara Rao, journalist Seema Mustafa, film maker Mahesh Bhatt and others, arrived on Friday on a “fact finding mission” to the valley.
APHC members stresses on the resolution of the Kashmir dispute according to the wishes and aspirations of the common stock of Jammu and Kashmir people. Peace is not possible in the South Asia block till Kashmir tangle is not solved. Mirwaiz said asked the delegation to raise the Kashmir issue in Parliament.
