PL condemns detention of Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza
Srinagar, November 2;
Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Monday condemned the detention
of its party Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza who was arrested last evening from his
residence and shifted to Sherbagh police station.
Party spokesman said that a heavy contingent of police
raided the residence of Mukhtar Ahmad Waza last evening and detained him hours
after he announced support to proposed ‘Srinagar Million March
.

Rehmani castigated puppet authorities for imprisoning Party Chairman Mukhtar
Ahmad Waza, pro-freedom leaders and innocent and condemned the arrest spree. He
said that Indian security forces have lashed terror in the valley on the name
of preparations and same indicate that the puppet authorities will not allow
the ‘Srinagar Million March’ for hiding the reality.
Rehmani said that party chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza is
suffering from multiple diseases and is being denied of medical facilities in
Sherbagh police station.
He condemned the police action and said that puppet
government is using military and security forces to curb the movement and
political activities of pro-freedom leadership.
He said that denying Democratic rights to Kashmiris has
exposed the real face of India which since 1947 used oppressive and suppressive
tact’s suppress the ongoing freedom movement. He also slammed so-called Chief
Minister for certifying that Narendra Modi isn’t communal and said that Indian
Prime Minister is responsible for the murder of lakhs of Indian innocent
Muslims.
He retreated his support to ‘Srinagar Million March’ for
countering Narendra Modi’s rally and urged common masses to make the program a
big success for conveying to world community that kashmiris will continue their
political fight against Indian illegal occupation till the final and peaceful
resolution of Kashmir dispute.
