Srinagar August 09: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) and Jammu Kashmir Mahaz e Azadi Sunday paid glowing tributes to the Shaheed-i-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz on his first anniversary and other martyrs of Muzaffarabad march.
In a statement from Udhampur jail JKLF (R) secretary general Muhammad Salim Nanaji while paying tributes and saluting the valour of martyred said: “The blockade of Kashmir by fanatic communalists last year had prompted the people of Kashmir to call for Muzaffarabad march to trample the bloody line, and Sheikh Aziz and other valiant people achieved martyrdom when bullets were showered on them by police and troops at Chayal.”
“The intifada launched by people of Kashmir won’t end till the liberation of Jammu Kashmir,” he said.
“The more Indian troops and State authorities unleash their suppression more they will face resistance from the people with added determination,” said Nanaji.
He also hailed the statement of Pakistan’s foreign Minister that there will be no change in the stand of Pakistan on Kashmir dispute.
Meanwhile Mahaz president Mir Muhammad Iqbal hailing the contribution of Aziz said: “Sacrifices cannot go waste. It is only because of the sacrifices our issue is being highlighted at international level.”
Mahaz also supported August 11 strike call given by Hurriyat Conference (M).
