The JKPM Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, while addressing participants of the seminar, paid rich tributes to the martyred leader. He said that the APHC would continue the struggle to complete the mission of Sheikh Abdul Aziz and other martyrs.
Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that the sacrifices of Kashmiris had internationalised the Kashmir dispute and the day was not far away when the people of occupied Kashmir would get rid of Indian bondage.
Expressing concern over the massive human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory, he said that in the presence of lakhs of Indian troops the honour and property of Kashmiris was not safe so the troops must be withdrawn from the valley.
The JKPM Chairman said that Kashmir was a political dispute and it could be resolved politically by holding talks. He also called upon the world community to play its role in resolving the long-standing dispute so that permanent peace could be maintained in South Asia.
The seminar was also addressed among others by advocate Abdul Majeed, Sajjad Ahmad, Muhammad Bashir, Chaudhry Akbar and Saleem Shahid.
