Senior Hurriyat Leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited the residence of martyred youth of Anchidura, Islamabad, and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing a gathering on the occasion strongly condemned the Indian state terrorism in the valley and described the recent killing of innocent youth as the worst kind of Indian barbarism.
Mukhtar Waza has expressed great degree of distress and anxiety over the death of Nazir Ahmed Wani son Abdul Rehman Wani of Bijbehara and Mudasir Ahmed Hajam,19, of Sopur who were directly fired from a pointblank range by paramilitary forces in peaceful demonstrations against human genocide. Waza said that the people of Kashmir have given matchless sacrifices for their right to self-determinations. He pointed out that the occupation forces had killed 62 innocent Kashmiris across the valley during peaceful protests against stepped up Indian state terrorism.
Continuous killing of innocent youth at such a tender age vindicates that tall claims of India — as biggest democracy and zero tolerance of Indian Prime Minister has unmasked their real face — shower volley of bullets upon peaceful demonstrations is the indicative of the fact that New Delhi forces are on the budge of chauvinism in Kashmir, Waza said, adding that our mothers and sisters are suffering from various psychological disorders because of the concern about the future of their children to whom they nurture and Indian security forces kill them for the sins which they have not committed .
“Therefore world of conscience, especially Human Rights organizations like Amnesty, Asia Watch, ICRC and others along with Save The Children are urged to take concrete steps to stop India from killing spree in Kashmir,” Waza said.
Waza maintains that dialogue is the key to the solutions like Kashmir but they should be meaningful and result oriented for that matter India must demonstrate sincerity and honesty without polemics and procrastination by shunning the approach of belligerence.
