Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples league Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Friday denounced the statement of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in which he (Rajnath Singh) had said that he had directed his armed forces to continue firing on Line of Control (LOC).
Accompanied by senior party leaders including Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Er Fayaz Ahmad, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing, Friday prayers in Noorpora area of Tral in South Kashmir, said that the way Narendra Modi government is dealing with Kashmir issue will definitely have serious repercussions. He said that from cancelling of sectary level talks with Pakistan and now directing forces to continue firing on Line of Control can prove disastrous for whole of the south Asian region.

“Narendra Modi government has now picked up hard-line for Kashmir and Kashmiri which is evident from the fact that they ignored peaceful means by calling off the talks and now instead of trying to stop the LOC skirmish is fueling it by encouraging its forces to continue firing, which will surely sink the boat of whole South Asian.” Warned Mukhtar Ahmad Waza

Waza urges SAARC nations to play effective role in Kashmir resolution

Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Friday urged SAARC nations to play effective role in resolving the Kashmir conflict which has a nuclear flash point in the whole south Asian region besides primary reason of confrontation between the two nuclear armed countries-India and Pakistan.
Addressing Friday congregations in Islamabad town, Waza said that the SAARC is responsible to resolve the regional issues of the region for ensuring its peace and stability besides economic prosperity, so without the peaceful resolution of Kashmir conflict peace, stability and economic prosperity can’t be guaranteed in the South Asian region.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Wednesday hailed Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit’s statement in which he said that Kashmiris were legitimate stakeholders of the Kashmir dispute and Pakistan will continue to work with sincerity for the peaceful resolution of the issue.
In a statement issued here, Waza said that statement of Pak envoy is encouraging and full of reality which India has to accept if they want to move forward.
“India was to shun its stagnant Kashmir policy if they want the resolution of this decades old problem through peaceful means.” Waza said, adding dialogue is the only way forward.
He said that calling off the talks has proved the stand of pro-freedom leadership that India isn’t serious in resolving the Kashmir dispute. He said that the calling off the talks has also proved that the bilateral talks with yield nothing.

Continuing its Party’s mass contact program, Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along senior leaders including Ghulam Qadir Rah, Shakeel-ul-Rehman,  Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Jaffer Kashmiri visited Fathegund Shree Baramullah to pay tributes to Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz and 72 martyrs who laid down their lives in 2008 during the mass agitation against the India’s illegal occupation and economic blockade.
During the visit, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza attended the special prayers session at Fathegund which was conveyed to pay rich tributes to Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz. Prayers session was attended by dozens of party activists who pledged to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion.
Addressing the prayers session, JKPL Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza emphasized the need of strengthening the party at gross root levels by reaching out to oppressed Kashmiri people in every hook and corner of the Jammu and Kashmir. Mukhtar Ahmad Waza paid rich tributes to Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz and other 72 martyrs including Tahir Nazir Lone, Manzoor Ahmad Akhoon, Mohd Amin and said that sacrifices of kashmiri martyrs have been endorsed by international community so the blood soaked freedom struggle will be taken to its logical conclusion despite odds.

Waza placed under house arrest, Spokesman condemns police action

Senior APHC Leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was placed under house detention today who was detained by Islamabad police yesterday in the evening.
Party Spokesman, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi said that Waza Shab was arrested yesterday in the evening and was shifted to Police Station Sherbagh, however he was released from the police station and was placed under house detention as Waza shab felt ill.
Spokesman condemned police action and termed it unwarranted and unconstitutional. He said that by caging the whole valley which highest militarized zone in Whole South Asian region sent a clear message to world community that Kashmir is illegally occupied by Indian forces. He said that while India and its citizens were celebrating their freedom day, naïve Kashmiris were braving the oppression of Indian army. He said that besides caging the valley Kashmiris were cut off from the rest of the world as the puppet authorities jammed mobile phones and internet services.

Senior APHC Leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Thursday greeted Government and people of Pakistan on their independence day and thanked them for their unflinching support to the Kashmir cause.
Waza appealed Pakistani people and the government to continue moral, diplomatic and political support to the ongoing freedom struggle of naïve Kashmiris for which Kashmiris have renedered uncounted sacrifices   
Slamming India, its armed forces and puppet authorities for lashing a reign of terror among the civilian population on the eve of 15th of August, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that India has no moral or legal right to celebrate their Independence Day in illegally occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir people’s league today organized a special prayers session at Martyrs graveyard on the eve of sixth martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz. Hundreds of Pro-Freedom activists and Leaders participated in the paryeres session and paid glowing tributes to Martyrs of Kashmir particularly to Martyred party Chairman, Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz.

Urging naïve kashmiris to participate enthusiastically in the programs chalked out by All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) on the eve of sixth martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azimat Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, on Friday said that martyred former chairman of the party was strong advocate of freedom of Kashmir for which he preferred martyrdom and never indulged in compromised politics neither bowed before the oppressor( India) and its cruel military forces.
Addressing a rally after Friday prayers in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district today, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said Shaheed-e-Azimat Sheikh Abdul Aziz was most honest and brave leader of naïve Kashmiris who preferred martyrdom on a read while leading the oppressed kashmiris who were demonstrating peaceful against the occupation of India and its undemocratic economic blockade.

Kicking off Martyr’s week in remembrance with Shaheed-e-Azemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League under the chairmanship of Party head, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza organized a peaceful rally Chattabal Kulgam to main market Kulgam in South Kashmir Today.
Hundreds of men particularly youths participated in the rally and paid rich tributes to Shaheed-e-Azemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz besides raised high pitched pro-Islam and Pro-Freedom slogans. Participants of the rally hailed the role played by the great martyrs in the ongoing freedom struggle.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, while addressing the gathering in Kulgam paid rich tributes to Kashmir martyrs particularly to party former chairman, Shaheed-e-Azemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz who laid his precious life for the ongoing freedom struggle.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, while paying tributes to Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz, and eulogizing his contribution to the freedom struggle of Kashmir said that Sheikh Abdul Aziz united Nation, Pro-freedom leadership before achieving martyrdom in year 2008.
While leading Anti-India, Anti-Israel and Anti-Kousrnag area in Kiomoh area of Kulgam district, Waza said that Jammu Kashmir People League will continue to work for unity in future as well.
Addressing the gathering in Kawari Bazar chowk of Kulgam district, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that he and his 72 associates, who laid down their lives for Kashmir in 2008 uprising, will never be forgotten, and the people of Kashmir ultimately, will see the sun of freedom shining over Jammu and Kashmir, although India may create obstructions in the way of the people’s march towards their cherished goal. Sheikh Aziz was ascribed to be amongst the frontline Pro-freedom leaders and was one of the Executive Member of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) - which represents the aspiration of Kashmiris politically, diplomatically and socially besides Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s League.
