Waza, Mir visited flood hit Lelhar Pulwama, expressed sympathy with flood affectees

Srinagar, October 15,
Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with liberation Front Chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi today visited flood hit lelhar village of Pulwama district.
During the visit APHC leaders expressed sympathy with the flood victims and asked Indian government to rehabilitate the homeless affectees ahead of winter or allow the international aid.

They said that floods have devastated whole Kashmir particularly Lelhar village but amazingly puppet authorities have not yet completing the assessment of the damage. “Floods have washed away residential houses in this village like it washed away thousands of the houses in whole of the Kashmir valley and have left thousands of families homeless but it is astonishing fact that the puppet government is politicizing the issue for their vested interests.” They said.
APHC leaders said that instead of rehabilitating the flood victims, Indian government blocked the international aid which is injustice with the kashmiri flood victims. They urged international community to help flood affected Kashmiris.
They also expressed concern over the growing confrontation on border between India and Pakistan and said that international community must also intervene for resolving the Kashmir conflict according to aspirations of Kashmiri people as the Kashmir conflict is the main reason of confrontation between the countries.
