Senior Peoples League Leader Ghulam Nabi Waseem collecting signatures in border district Kupwara. He said that the document with signatures would be forwarded in the form of a memorandum to the US Embassy in New Delhi.
Waseem expresses satisfaction over the mass participation of the people in its signature campaign vowed to gear up efforts on internal and external fronts in order to seek support for the resolution of Kashmir dispute.
Appealing the Kashmiri people particularly academicians, intellectuals and students to extend support to the campaign, Waseem said that the memos would be forwarded through emails to the US President and embassies of all the countries. Waseem has called upon the US President, Barack Obama, to impress upon India to give the Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination.
