A high level delegation of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League led by its Acting chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with General secretary Mohammad Ashraf Vaid, Mohammad Maqbool Sofi, Shakeel ul rehman, Imtiyaz Reshi, Mushtaq Ganie visits residence of Senior Hurriyat Leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan at Barzulla Baghat, who was put under illegal detention for many months by occupation authorities and expressed satisfaction over his release. Waza said that, by release of Nayeem Khan a new soul will get infused in the rank and file of APHC vis-à-vis ongoing freedom struggle. Waza reiterated that the pro-freedom movement, which has heavy sacrifices at its back, will reach to its conclusion and JKPL is optimistic about the fact that the dawn of freedom will be definitely drawn on the horizons of Kashmir. “The illegitimate detention or coercive measures adopted by India in Kashmir cannot kill the resolve of common people,” Waza said, adding, “Martyrs mission will be taken to the logical end.”
Waza expresses serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of pro-freedom leaders including Shabir Ahmad Shah and hopes that India shun its rigidness and will release all pro-freedom leaders.
Waza appealed the world human rights organizations including the Amnesty International to help release Kashmiri prisoners languishing in different interrogation centres and jails inside and outside the Kashmir.
