SOLVING ISSUE OF KASHMIR KEY TO PEACE IN THE REGION: JKPL

In continuation to door to door compaign Senior Hurriyat Leader and Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addresses a public gathering after friday prayers at Rooh, Baitung and Bijbehara district Anantnag. While addressing an impressive gatherings Waza said that sustainable peace in South Asia is impossible without the solution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute. Waza said that ignoring the long-standing Kashmir dispute, Pakistan and India could not move forward on other issues and if some one consider this than it is a misconception.
Waza reteirated that recent reports of WIKILEAKS, an American Diplomat said that resolving the 63-year-old Kashmir conflict "would dramatically improve the situation in whole South Asia Block,".
Mukhtar Waza retained that Kashmir dispute is the main cause of tension in South Asia and needs to be resolved without any further delay and added that because of its impact on relations between Pakistan and India, the conflict over Kashmir directly affects the peace and stability in the entire region, which is home to millions of people.Waza also has expressed serious concern over the grave violations of human rights in Kashmir by Indian troops.
Waza was accompanied by his secretary Syed Abid Bhat, Shabir Ahmad and Fayaz Ahmad.
