Srinagar, October 24: Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, accompanied by Liberation Front Chairman, Javaid Ahmad Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Friday asked Indian government to open the channels of dialogue with Pakistan and Pro-Freedom Kashmiri leadership for averting a nuclear disaster in the region.
Addressing a gathering after Friday congregations in Kulgam district of South Kashmir, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that growing tension between the armies of India and Pakistan on borders is pushing both the countries towards a war which will bring a nuclear disaster in whole of the south Asian region.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza paid rich tributes to Bijbehara martyrs

Srinagar, October 22: Executive member of Hurriyat Conference (M) and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples league, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Bijbehara 1993 massacre.
While visiting Mazari-e- Shudha Bijberaha , Waza along with Senior Pro-Freedom leaders Shabir Ahmad Shah, Javid Ahmad Mir, Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi, paid glowing tributes to the martyrs who fell to the bullet of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Bijbehara on October 22, 1993 when they were peacefully demonstrating against the siege of Hazratbal shrine by Indian Army.
Party leaders’ imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Eng. Fayaz Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat and Zulfi Masood were too accompanying the party chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza.

In his message to People of Kashmir, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has appealed people to keep in mind the devastation of Kashmir caused by floods and refrain from extra and unnecessary spending.

Waza visited Bijbehara, hails contribution of locals in providing help to flood catastrophe victims

Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today visited Bijbehara and expressed sympathy with the flood victims.
He along with senior leaders of Peoples League including Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Fayaz Ahmad and Shakeel Ahmad met Al-Falah trustees who today organized a free medical camp in the town for flood affected families and distributed free medicines among them.
Waza hailed the efforts of group who during the flood catastrophe provided every kind of help to not only affected families but to stranded tourists also. He assured help to them from the party and appealed them to continue relief works in affected areas of the town.

During the visit APHC leaders expressed sympathy with the flood victims and asked Indian government to rehabilitate the homeless affectees ahead of winter or allow the international aid.

Srinagar, October 17: Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today asked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to adopt peaceful means for resolving the Kashmir dispute.
Addressing Friday congregations in Islamabad town today, Mukhtar Waza blamed Indian government and its army for prevailing skirmish on LOC and Border. He said that war isn’t the solution but can only disturb the peace of whole south Asian region.
“Roaring guns on LoC and Border has claimed many lives since from the past weeks, so it is a Kashmiri who is suffering on both sides of LOC or border because of this deliberate confrontation, hence international community must play its effective role in resolving the dispute.” Said Waza

Srinagar, September 24: Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Wednesday appealed Indian government to allow international aid on humanitarian grounds for rebuilding flood affected Kashmir.
Floods have devastated Kashmir, claimed precious lives and damaged property worth 1 lakh crores so India which claims that they will help Kashmiri people can’t lonely so people international aid coming from different countries including Islamic must be allowed.” Waza said.
He said that he has credible reports that on the directions of Indian government, Puppet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is not allowing the aid consignments from Srinagar airport which are coming from different Islamic countries.

 APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Friday ridiculed Indian armed forces and other agencies for discriminating naïve Kashmiri people during rescue operations during floods which claimed precious lives of people and destroyed property worth billions.
Waza who along with several party workers in visiting flood affected South Kashmir since from past over a week expressed solidarity with the flood affected families and urged non-flood affected population to continue helping affected families.

Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir people’s League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today appealed Indian government to allow international aid for rehabilitating flood victims before the commencement of winter.
During its visit to several affected areas, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that during this testing time Indian government, its forces and puppet government left the people of Kashmir on the mercy of Almighty and not provided help or relief to the affected. He said that it is the height of injustice that Indian government is now not allowing international aid to Kashmir. Waza appealed Indian government to accept realism and on humanitarian grounds allow the international community for rehabilitating the flood affected kashmiri families before the commencement of winter.
