Jammu and Kashmir People’s League chairman Sheikh Mohd Yaqoob and Mohd Yasin Attaie Vice Chairman Peoples League in a joint statement on Wednesday paid glowing tributes to Kashmir martyrs including ‘Shaheed-e-Millat’ Late Moulvi Muhammad Farroq & ‘Shaheed-e-Hurriyat’ Late Abdul Ghani Lone on their martyrdom anniversaries respectively.
They also paid glowing tributes to Shaheed-e-Azimat Sheikh Abdul Aziz and Shaheed S.Hamid Wani who laid down their lives while fighting Indian military oppression politically and proved their love for the Kashmiri nation and its freedom from Indian bondage on ground.

“The two leaders like thousands of other naïve Kashmiris sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom and it is now up to us to take these sacrifices to logical end. The sacrifices of the martyrs won’t be allowed to go waste,” Yaqoob said, adding no one will be allowed to waste the sacrifices of Kashmiris

He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have always strived for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue through the auspicious United Nation resolutions.
Urging youth to join Peoples League and Pro-freedom political arena Yaqoob said, “Black sheeps are everywhere so are they very much in Pro-freedom politics. Our youth has the responsibility of taking over the political freedom struggle of Kashmir now so they must come forward and play their role.”
Paying rich tributes to youth who are sacrificing precious lives, Yaqoob said that in political freedom struggle a young can play a better role than those who have lost the hope and are exploiting the sacrifices of innocent Kashmiris.
