Waza asked international NGO’s, Human rights bodies to visit Kashmir

Incarcerated senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza Monday urged international human rights bodies and organizations to visit Kashmir and work in Kashmir so that atrocities of forces are put before the world community.
He appealed Kashmiris to show complete determination towards the ongoing movement for which lakhs of innocents have laid down sacrifices.
In an issued statement, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza appealed international human rights bodies and organizations to visit Kashmir and report the atrocities particularly ongoing killed spree and use of lethal weapons like Pellet Gun and its consequences to conscience world community for bringing an end to current bloodshed.

“Hundreds of youth have lost eye sight due to pellet guns, Indian forces have killed over 50 innocent civilians mostly teenagers but due to unethical and biased reportage of Indian media the reports regarding ongoing uprising against illegal occupation of India and Indian military oppression hasn’t ‘knocked the world community yet,” he said, requesting international organizations to report the Indian military oppression to world for immediate intervention.
Waza said that forces have damaged ambulances ferrying injured to hospitals and have arrested injured from hospital beds instead of providing them treatment. He said that at the moment injured pellet victims needs treatment but India chooses to put them behind bars.
He thanked all those locals groups and volunteers who are working relentlessly mostly in hospitals by providing free meals to victims and helping the Indian military oppression affectees.
Waza also thanked general public, trade bodies in particularly for refusing to meet Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh who seems to not have gone through the history of Kashmir dispute. “No economic packages or political slogan of India can’t now break the ongoing movement,” he said and asked Indian government to accept the disputed nature of Kashmir and resume dialogue process for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.
He also appealed International community, United Nations and the SAARC countries to play an effective role in settling the Kashmir dispute and bringing an end to ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir.
He slammed puppet government for allowing Indian security forces to carry out genocide of Kashmiris to suppress the ongoing freedom movement and using force on people in Islamabad town.
