DR ISRAR’S DEATH WAS A HUGE LOSS FOR THE COUNTRY : JKPL

In an extraordinary meeting held at Peoples League head office Srinagar; Jammu Kashmir Peoples League has unanimously decided that they will initiate door to door campaign which will presided over by its acting chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in order to strengthen the organization from ground level. In a meeting Mukhtar Waza announces a team which includes PL General Secretary Mohd Ashraf Vaid, Gh. Qadir Rah, Mohd Maqbool Sofi, Gh. Nabi Waseem, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Gh. Mohd Mir, Nazir Ahmad Khan and Gulzar Ahmad for door to door movement.

Mukhtar Waza offers heartfelt condolences over the demise of Dr Israr and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the members of the bereaved family. Waza expresses deep sorrow and grief over the death of religious scholar Dr Israr Ahmed, who passed away early morning. Waza said Dr Israr was a great intellectual who devoted his life for teaching Islam and its principles. Waza said Dr Israr’s death was a huge loss for the country as he served the people with devotion and dedication in the social sphere as well.

Mukhtar Waza also strongly condemns the killing of a 17-year-old Zubair Ahmed an 11th class student by Indian police personnel in Sopore and arrest of innocent youth at different places. “India wants to suppress the liberation movement through military might policies but it would never succeed in its nefarious designs,” he added.

Waza appeals to the world human rights organizations to impress upon India to stop human rights violations in Kashmir.
