People of Kashmir faced oppression and massacre in Kashmir… JKPL

Senior APHC Leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with Mohammad Ashraf Vaid visited the residences of martyred youths of Anchidura Islamabad who were martyred recently by Indian forces. Waza expresses solidarity with their families and prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and patience to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. While addressing a mammoth Public gathering at Anchidura Islamabad Waza strongly condemns the stepped up Indian state terrorism in Jammu Kashmir and described the recent killings of innocent youth by Indian troops as barbaric. He said that the troops were even targeting peaceful demonstrators to prevent Kashmiris from continuing their just right to self-determination.

While ridiculing the claims of zero tolerance over human rights abuses by the Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Waza said, “People of India should themselves see the oppression and massacre faced by the people of Kashmir at the hands of Indian troops.”

He appeals the international human rights organizations to take notice of gross violations of human rights in Kashmir and put pressure on India to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
