JKPL hails release of profreedom Leaders

Senior Hurriyat Leader and acting chairman Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has expresses contentment over the release of profreedom leaders including Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Mohammad Maqbool Sofi, described it as welcome step. Waza today visited the residences of all profreedom kashmiri leaders and felicitated him. He hoped that all other detainees would be released to make the atmosphere congenial for resolution of Kashmir issue.
While addressing in a party meeting, Waza said that India should accept Kashmir as an international dispute, withdraw its troops from Kashmir, repeal all draconian laws including Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA), release illegally detained pro-liberation leaders and activists and punish the troopers involved in the killings of innocent Kashmiris. “India should immediately undertake these steps to create a congenial atmosphere for the permanent resolution of the lingering dispute,” he added.
