Waza demands withdrawal of troops, repeal of black laws

Senior APHC Leader and Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has demanded total withdrawal of Indian troops, repeal of draconian laws and immediate release of all illegally detained pro-freedom leaders and activists.
Waza while addressing a public gathering during door to door campaign at Shirpora and Brakipora South Kashmir Anantnag district maintained that Indian wanted to perpetuate its illegal occupation of Kashmir by putting Kashmiri youth behind the bars and killing people randomly. He pointed out that gross human rights violations would continue till Indian troops were present in Kashmir.
Waza said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had been rendering unparalleled sacrifices for the past over six decades to secure their right to self-determination and these sacrifices would never be allowed to go waste. He appealed to the international community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute, once and for all.
