Waza welcomes Indo-Pak dialogue, demands inclusion of Kashmiri people

Srinagar, April 10, 2012: Welcoming India Pakistan dialogue process, executive member of Hurriyat conference and chairman Jammu and Kashmir people’s league, Mukthar Ahmad waza on Tuesday while addressing a large number of people at Akura Mattan said that until kashmiri genuine leadership is not included, dialogue process will not yield better results.

“Meeting between Pakistan President, Asif Ali Zardari and Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh in New Delhi is a good omen and it should be a continued process, However both the countries should include genuine leadership of Kashmir into the process for the early resolution of long pending Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of innocent kashmiri people.” Waza said, adding that the permanent peace in the region and friendly relations between Pakistan and India could not be ensured without resolving the dispute over Kashmir in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

He said that the permanent peace in south Asia lies in early resolution of Kashmir issue for which Kashmir people have given uncountable scarifies and blood and have gained international recognition.

He said “Kashmir is an international issue supported by UNO resolutions and we appeal international community to pressurize India to resolve Kashmir issue early without wasting time much more time and blood.”
