Waza reacts on Indian foreign Ministers statement, Says Kashmir is an internationally recognized issue.


Srinagar, Oct 02: Sharply reacting on the Indian Foreign Minister, S M Krishna’s  statement in which he said that Pakistani President, Asif Ali Zardari’s statement about Kashmir Issue was ‘unwarranted’ , Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukthar Ahmad was denounced the statement of Indian Foreign Minister  and said that such statements can’t change the history and truth full ground realties.
Mukhtar waza condemned the statement of Foreign Minister and said that Kashmir dispute is international recognized issue which has history and is importantly supported by the resolutions of the United Nations.
He said that the statement of Indian Foreign Minister is baseless as the Kashmir is a disputed area that has been illegally occupied by India sine from 27 October 1947 and the first resolution related to Kashmir issue was passed by the United Nations of 13 August 1948 clearly advocating to hold a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir and further directs both the countries not to claim sovereignty over the region.
He said that Kashmir Dispute is supported by 18 resolutions of United Nations and because the long pending Kashmir Issue both the countries have fought several wars. He said that Pt. Nehru also in his historical speech at Lal Chwok Srinagar has promised with Kashmir people that they will be allowed to decide their future, in which he failed and from 1947 government of India is muzzling the aspirations of Kashmiri people by not giving them a chance to use their birth right “right to self determination”.
He said that for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, people of the state has given uncounted scarifies that will not go waste and the Kashmir freedom movement will be taken to its logical conclusion. He urged upon the united Nation to implement its resolution on Kashmir and also urged the UN to take a serious notice of grave human rights violations that have been done by the government of India and security agencies during last 66 years including, Killing of innocent people, gang rapes, tourcheres in intragartion centers as well as fake encounters.    
He said that Kashmir Issue is a nuclear flash point in the south Asian region and hence delay in its peaceful resolution has dangerous results .
