PEOPLES LEAGUE HAILS THE AVOWALS OF MALAYSIAN PRIME MINISTER & BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER

Senior Hurriyat Leader and Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League has urged India to give up obstinacy and take positive steps for the resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspiration of Kashmiri people. While expressing satisfaction over the recent avowals of the Malaysian Prime Minister, Mr. Najib Razak and Adam Thompson, British High Commissioner to Pakistan pushed for a negotiated settlement for the Kashmirdispute. “It should be settled on the basis of negotiations and peaceful resolutions”, they insisted. Waza reiterated that Kashmir dispute needed to be resolved, without any further delay said that the only way of redemption was to provide the people of Kashmir an opportunity to decide their political future, themselves. Waza maintained that settlement of the Kashmir dispute was imperative not only for regional security but for the world peace, as well and stressed the tripartite talks involving Pakistan, India and the genuine leadership of Kashmiri people.

APHC leader appeals to other world powers to impress upon India to shun their stubbornness and settle the 63 years long pending dispute once for all.
