KILLING HAVE BECOME A ROUTINE IN KASHMIR:: JKPL

Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Acting Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has strongly denounced the killing of three innocent youths of Nadihal area of Rafiabad, Muhammad Shafi Lone, Shehzad Ahmad and Riyaz Ahmed Lone in a fake encounter at Machil in Kupwara by Indian army on April 30. Mukhtar Waza while addressing the participants of a gathering at Malla-akad during zin a door to door campaign deplored that Indian troops were perpetrating gross human rights abuses in Kashmir with impunity. "Such incidents have become a routine and common man is very insecure. India has started state-wide war against the common people of Jammu and Kashmir."

"Marshall law is prevailing here. The nationalist and communal forces of India have unleashed reign of terror in Jammu and Kashmir," Waza said. “The so-called elected government has no control over the troopers who have unprecented special powers,” he said.

APHC leader appealed to the world community and international human rights organizations to help stop massive human rights violations by Indian troops in Kashmir and put pressure on New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris aspirations.“The peace and stability in South Asia can not prevail till the lingering dispute between the nuclear rivals is resolved,” he maintained.
