Addressing a large gathering at S.K Colony Anchidora Islamabad Waza, said that Kashmiri martyrs sacrificed their lives for a sacred cause and the sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. He deplored that no action had been taken, so far, against the killers of the innocent people despite passing of eighteen years.

He said that the ongoing movement would be taken to its logical conclusion and appealed the international community to help resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations and relevant United Nations resolutions.

Moreover, Alleging the international community was showing its double standards over ‘continuing Human Rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leader Mukthar Waza said that the Western countries have maintained silence over the Kashmir issue. “The countries are giving preference to economic interests over the human rights. Not a single statement has come from the European Union or America on Kashmir in past two years,” he said.
