Sikh organisation pays tributes to Shaheed-e-Azeemat, Sheikh Abdul Aziz

Srinagar, August 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Dal Khalsa, a Sikh political party, has said that it will fully support the right to self-determination for Kashmiri people.
President and Secretary of the Sikh group, Harchranjit Singh and Kanwarpal Singh in a statement paid tributes to APHC leader, Sheikh Aziz and others for attainting martyrdom for the Kashmir cause.
They also condemned the Indian government an occupation authorities for crushing the non-violent movement with violent means. “The determination and steadfastness of Kashmiris would never allow the sacrifices of martyrs go vain,” they added. Dal Khalsa leaders said Sheikh Aziz was a friend of Sikhs and supporter of Sikh cause for independence.
“Aspirations of Kashmiris should be respected and they should be given free and fair opportunity to express their desire through the universally accepted right to self-determination,” the statement added.
The Sikh leaders condemning the continued illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Aasiya Andrabi, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Muhammad Saleem Nunnaji.
They urged the United Nations Human Rights Commission, Amnesty International and Asia Watch to seek explanation from India for curbing the democratic movement of Kashmiri people.
