Killing of innocent youth in Anantnag, Bemina and Pattan is extremely condemnable: Peoples League

Senior APHC Leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has expressed grief and strongly condemned the killing of two innocent youth at Anantnag, one at Bemina Srinagar and one at Palhallan Pattan. Mukhtar Waza has said that Indian troops have gone on rampage and have lost even the basic humanity, they haven’t even spared kids and brutally crushed them under military jackboots this speaks volumes of their thinking vis-à-vis Kashmiris.

Opening fire at people, ransacking houses, vandalizing house hold items, broking doors and window panes clearly shows that they are manning and occupying an alien land which doesn’t belong to them and they want to occupy and control it through military means Waza said.

Waza has appealed to International Community and Human Rights organizations to take notice of the worsening human rights situation in Kashmir as troops are not only using force on peaceful protests but are continuously firing even on funeral processions, using brute force and tear gas shells in Hospitals and places of worship which is tantamount to blatant violation of International conventions and norms.
