CONTINUOUS DETENTION OF APHC LEADERS IS EXTREMELY CONDEMNABLE.JKPL

APHC leader and acting chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza placed under house by occupation authorities at Kadipora Islamabad since from last two days successively. A heavy contingent of armed forces cordoned his residence and put him under house arrest at the forefront of their planned march to Sopore to expresses solidarity with the bereaved families. Jammu Kashmir Peoples League strongly denounces the continued house arrest of Mukhtar Waza and other all pro freedom leaders.

Meanwhile Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has strongly criticized the attack on peaceful protestors in which a 13 year old boy Arshad Ahmad was critically injured when paramilitary CRPF troopers fired upon the group of youth at Mattan Chowk in south Kashmir. "Terming the troops action against peaceful protesters as "uncalled for", Waza said, "it was a preplanned scheme to carry out genocide of youths and create an atmosphere of terror in the valley so that no one raises his voice for right to self determination", Waza added.

While expressing serious concern over the ban on SMS services Waza said this is not the first time that government has banned the SMS in valley, the fresh ban on SMSes and news channels proves that puppet administration don’t want to allow the spreading of real news information or the real facts regarding the current situation which is going on..
