Peoples League Visits The Residance Of Tufail Ahmad Mattoo

A High Level delegation of Peoples League comprises of Mohd Maqbool Sofi and Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi under the supervision of Acting Chairman of PL, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited the residence of Mohd Ashraf Mattoo of SaidaKadal expresses solidarity and condoled with him the death of his son, Tufail Ahmad Mattoo. The PL members prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Mukhtar Waza has maintained that India will not be able to suppress Kashmiris’ liberation struggle by resorting to brute force. Waza flayed the occupation authorities for imposing restrictions in Srinagar to prevent people from protesting the killing of an innocent student by Indian police. He pointed out that India’s military might policy during the last sixty-three years could not break Kashmiris’ spirit of freedom from Indian bondage.

He appealed to the international community to impress upon India to give up its intransigence and take steps to resolve the lingering dispute.
