India conducting genocide to repress Kashmiris’ freedom struggle; JKPL

Senior APHC Leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has strongly condemns the killing of two innocent youths namely Mohammed Rafiq Bangroo and Javed Ahmed Malla of Noorbagh, while protesting against Indian state terrorism at Srinagar. Waza said that by killing innocent Kashmiris, India is pursuing the policy of genocide to repress their liberation struggle. “Indian forces are killing Kashmiris at will. To spill blood has become their favourite pastime.” he added. He termed such killings as a glaring instance of “state sponsored terrorism.” “It clearly shows that armed forces have no respect for human rights.” He maintained that India’s claim of zero tolerance against the rights abuses proved a hoax in the backdrop of fake encounters and targeted killing of innocent Kashmiris over the past few months. Waza Vowed to continue the freedom struggle till its logical conclusion, he said that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste. He appeals to the international community to impress upon India to stop human rights violations in Kashmir.

Meanwhile a delegation of Peoples League comprises of Mohd Maqbool Sofi, Shakeel-ul-Rehman, Imtiyaz Reshi and Ajaz Wani visited the residences of martyred youths and expresses solidarity with their families. They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and patience to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
