India would not muzzle the Kashmiris’ voice... JKPL

Senior APHC Leader and Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has strongly condemns the arrest of senior peoples league leaders including Mohammad Maqbool Sofi and Shakeel ul Rehman without any reason. Waza said that by arresting pro freedom leaders, India is pursuing the policy of genocide to repress their liberation struggle. Waza said that India would not be able to muzzle the Kashmiris’ just voice for their right to self-determination through use of brute force. Vowing to continue the freedom struggle till its logical conclusion, at all costs, he said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would carry on their liberation movement till withdrawal of last Indian trooper from the soil. Waza maintained that India’s claim of zero tolerance against the rights abuses proved a hoax in the backdrop of fake encounters, illegal arrests and targeted killing of innocent Kashmiris over the past few months. He appeals to the international community to impress upon India to stop human rights violations in Kashmir.
